First dates can often be daunting and many end on a bad note, but increasing your endorphin levels. When you are together is a way to make sure your afternoon ends on a happy note. Lab studies show that when a couple works out and gets sweaty together, the result is a greater satisfaction with the relationship and increased feelings of love towards one another

According to the US National Library of Medicine, as little as 30 minutes of intense exercise releases endorphins. This helps put you in a better mood, clear your mind of anxiety and increase your happiness. Endorphins are chemicals that are produced naturally in the brain and released by the pituitary gland to help reduce pain and to leave you with an overall sense of euphoria. These chemicals are your body's natural painkillers.

When planning a first date, it's a good idea to choose healthy activities that encourage the release of these natural 'feel-good' chemicals. Instead of planning a date to the local pizza parlor and a movie, opt for a night at the skating rink, go hiking or take a class in ballroom dancing. The idea is to keep moving.

If you've managed to survive a few dates, the two of you may discuss training for a marathon together, join a gym or even take up naked yoga. Create a routine that works for the both of you and you will get more pleasure out of your dates when you start seeing physical results. Try filling your bodies with food when you are together to make the relationship last longer.
